…to my personal web page!

I am Jesús Montes Sánchez, a young researcher and computer scientist at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain (Technical University of Madrid). In 2010 I defended mi Ph.D. thesis at the same university, and obtained a “Best Ph.D. thesis” award the following year.

Nowadays, my main research interest are advanced data analysis and data mining applied to large scale scientific problems. In this sense, my work is currently focused in two areas:

  • Large scale distributed systems, grid and cloud computing, behaviour modelling and fault tolerance.
  • Complex biological interactions, neural networks and neuro-chemical simulations.

I am currently a member of the Cajal Blue Brain project, the Spanish division of the Blue Brain Project.

I also continue working on the GloBeM project, which constituted the main part of my Ph.D. Thesis.

Now that you are here, please feel free to have a look at the projects I am working on.

Or maybe you would like to take a look at my publications.

Yo can also check my Google Scholar and Research Gate profiles.
